Terms of Use
Last updated July 22, 2026
1. What Signal Bureau is
Signal Bureau™ is an information service: it reads across the open information environment — news, public data, and prediction-market prices as a signal of what the crowd believes — and helps you understand what’s happening and why. It is provided for informational purposes only.
1a. Two tiers of service (added July 22, 2026)
Signal Bureau is offered two ways. The public service — this site, the public Answer Engine, and the open API and MCP tools — runs under these standard terms. Contracted private desks run under separately negotiated terms covering confidentiality, data use, retention, deletion, and related commitments. For customer-submitted intelligence content (Class C, as defined in our Privacy Policy and at /trust/), the contracted terms supersede these terms wherever the two differ.
2. Not financial, legal, or investment advice
Nothing on Signal Bureau is financial, legal, tax, or investment advice, an offer or solicitation, or a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold anything. Prediction-market prices and our calibrated reads are shown to illuminate a question, not to direct a decision. You are solely responsible for your own decisions and should consult a qualified professional where appropriate.
3. Acceptable use
Use Signal Bureau lawfully and in good faith. Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, scrape at abusive volume, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service; do not use it to harass, deceive, or to generate unlawful content. We may rate-limit, suspend, or restrict access to protect the service and other users.
4. Intellectual property
Signal Bureau, the Signal Bureau name and mark, the user interface, the underlying software, the entity-normalization and divergence methodology, and all compilations of data and analysis are owned by Evolution Accelerator, Inc. (dba Evolution Labs) (“Evolution Labs”) and protected by intellectual-property laws. “Signal Bureau” is a trademark of Evolution Accelerator, Inc. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the service for your own informational use. Source material we summarize remains the property of its respective owners and is credited on every item, with links wherever the source is linkable.
4a. API fair use and output licensing
The public API and MCP tools are provided keyless for evaluation, individual use, and building applications that consume the feed live. The outputs — signal designations, trajectories, rankings, desk assignments, evidence selections, methodology metadata, and answers — are part of the compilations described in Section 4. Without a separate commercial license from Evolution Labs you may not: systematically archive or bulk-collect API outputs over time; use outputs to train, fine-tune, evaluate, or calibrate a machine-learning model or a competing signal, ranking, or alerting product; resell or redistribute the feed as a dataset; or remove attribution. Rate limits are stated at /connect/; access past them, and licensed uses of the kinds above, are available — talk to us.
5. Accuracy and sources
We report what sources say and attribute them, and we apply guardrails against adding facts the source did not state. Even so, automated intelligence can be incomplete or wrong, sources can be mistaken, and markets move. We make no warranty that any read, probability, or summary is accurate, complete, or current. Verify anything you rely on.
6. No warranty · limitation of liability
The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Evolution Labs will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, or for any decision made in reliance on the service.
7. Changes
Signal Bureau is in active development; features and these terms may change. Material changes will be reflected by an updated date above. Continued use after a change means you accept the revised terms.
